POWWOW ACTIVITY BOOK

Powwow Activity Book is a 28-page book of activities that uses the modern powwow for inspiration. The creators of this activity book are Cherokee and Jesse Hummingbird is the artist. The pages contain fill-in the blank, connect the dots, matching, mazes, crosswords, colouring, spelling, and counting activities. All the illustrations are simple line drawings suitable for colouring. The images include men's and women's traditional and fancy dancers, as well as hoop dancers. This is a wonderful activity book that can stand alone or be used in elementary classrooms when teaching about Native Americans and dance.
